  • Minister Jacek Czaputowicz joined his colleagues from Romania, Teodor Viorel Meleşcanu, and Turkey, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, for Polish-Romanian-Turkish consultations on security in the Romanian capital city. As part of their trialogue, the ministers discussed the outcome of NATO’s Brussels summit in July, and the Alliance’s priorities for the future. In this context, the ministers talked about the challenges facing the Allies in the Middle East, the Western Balkans, and the East. “In the face of continuing destabilisation in our immediate neighbourhood, NATO sends a very positive message by reaffirming its earlier decisions about closer cooperation with Georgia and Ukraine and these countries' prospects for membership in the Alliance,” emphasized the chief of Polish diplomacy. 2018-09-11
