News Foreign policy Ministry Travel to Poland
The situation in Turkey, globalisation, and challenges to the present international order were the main points on the agenda of discussions during the informal EU foreign ministers’ meeting in the Gymnich format.
"We began by discussing bilateral security, and military and political cooperation. Then we moved on to economic collaboration, placing an emphasis on energy security," Poland's top diplomat said after his meeting with US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.
“We need to give the Partnership an ambitious political vision that will include concrete goals that are achievable in the near and foreseeable future. We must recognize the European aspirations and the European choice of our Eastern partners,” Minister Witold Waszczykowski said during today's meeting of Visegrad Group and Eastern Partnership foreign ministers in Warsaw.
