On Sunday, Krakowskie Przedmiescie street in Warsaw changed into the Global Education Town, where its visitors had a chance to discover how Poland helps other countries. “We help not only our direct neighbours but also countries on the other side of the world,” said Deputy Foreign Minister Katarzyna Kacperczyk during the event.
The Council of Europe’s role in the face of challenges the deepening migrant crisis and the conflict in eastern Ukraine pose for Europe was top of the agenda during Minister Grzegorz Schetyna’s meeting with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Thorbjørn Jagland.
“Poland wants to make a significant contribution to improving security, peace and stability in the world. Through our UN activities we implement the priorities of our foreign policy,” Minister Grzegorz Schetyna emphasized in New York.
